The last day

The boys had a final eventful day in store for them today. It started with a morning jam-packed with activities, including climbing, fencing and Nightline (a blindfolded obstacle course!).

After a very French style buffet, we caught the coach to the much anticipated chocolate factory and animal refuge. Neither disappointed!

I can assure you all, there are some very chocolatey gifts on their way home to you all!

The boys are current having a hot chocolate after their final night of entertainment, a talent show. There was some very fine singing from a few brave boys and what can only be described as unique acts from others! Well done to all the boys who got involved.

Tomorrow we will be leaving the chateau at 9.30am. We'll keep blogging as much as we can, to make sure you stay informed about our arrival time.

See you all soon!

More photos...

Mr Yates's effort was appreciated by the boys. A great costume!

A day by the sea...

We've had another action packed day today, visiting the beautiful castle of Mont St Michel. The boys enjoyed the Harry Potter-like views and the hot weather.

Then it was straight on to St Malo, for a play on the beach and an ice cream. The ice cream went down a treat!

After a very french dinner, the boys got themselves ready for the annual French Night (there were some very interesting costumes!) and have had a blast! The boys are currently finishing up with catwalk, showcasing all of their finery...

Zip Wiring!

Some more pics...

The hottest day of the year!

The boys have had a great day so far...

After, a continental breakfast (mainly pain au chocolat) we went to the local market.

The boys had a chance to practice their French, asking for crepes, local honey, bracelets, even about different fruits at one stall... But mainly asking for the delicious crepes!

After a trip to the supermarché, we had lunch at a local park in the fantastic sun.

At the moment the boys are enjoying today's activities: zip wire, archery and aeroball. It has been the hottest day of the year at the chateau and it really does feel like summer is in full swing!
